Workshop: Expert opinion as evidence (from the lawyer’s point of view)

The aim of the course is to provide attorneys and law clerks with a complete interpretation of the mandatory expert witness procedure. After completing the course, they will be able to orient themselves in the mandatory expert procedure, understand the individual steps of the expert procedure, their strict interdependence and be able to accurately identify the shortcomings of the expert’s report preventing its reviewability. Support is provided by Decree No. 503/2020 Coll.

Interpretation will be combined with practice in ‘reconstructing’ the actual expert’s procedure from the way the expert has recorded that procedure in the expert report.

The seminar will be led by  PhDr. Jiří Závora, Ph.D et Ph.D., a forensic expert and author of the structural concept of reviewability in the new regulation of expert activities.
